INTAMAS initiative

The INTAMAS (Innovative Training Network Ambulatory Assessment) initiative aims at establishing a framework and training programming for training the next generation of highly trained Early Stage Researchers with a unique set of skills that enables them to tackle major societal challenges in mental and physical health within the academic and non-academic sector. Skill set development will be centred on Ambulatory Assessment, which is considered the gold standard for achieving ecologically valid results by monitoring psychological, behavioural, and physiological variables in real life. Thus, Ambulatory Assessment serves as an essential complementary strategy to experimental and clinical trial research. The INTAMAS initiative is designed to maximally exploit the added value of the participants’ network and their complementary expertise: the initiative builds on the strong European tradition in Ambulatory Assessment and will significantly advance the field by pooling expertise from different disciplines in the health sciences from leading experts in Ambulatory Assessment in order to implement cutting-edge research with a focus on the exchange with non-academic participants.
